Bring vintage BIG M tone to your rig in a small, lightweight open-back 1x12 cabinet. Huge low end supports a pronounced midrange, with smooth, sparkling highs rounding out the sound.

The Vintage open back 1x12 Cabinet is a perfect match for the 1984, Straight8 and ACE amplifiers. Its width matches Kool Amplification combo and head amplifiers.

Speaker and power handling

A Celestion G12H75 Creamback, made in England (UK), sits behind the grille. The cabinet has a tuned, oval-shaped open back.

• Speaker configuration: 1x12"
• Power handling: 75 Watt R.M.S.
• Impedance: mono 8 Ohm
• Optional impedance: 16 Ohm on request

Construction and dimensions

The cabinet is built from 13-ply, 18 mm Light Plex wood, with a rear-mounted front baffle made from 13-ply high-grade birch. Specially designed K&E jointed cabinet corners form part of the construction, while the grille cloth uses acoustically transparent yarns.

At 13 kg, this cabinet keeps the vintage format lightweight. It measures 44 cm high, 50 cm wide and 33 cm deep.

Finish and options

Black Rose Tolex gives the cabinet its finish. Choose a gold or black logo, with gold or white piping. A strap handle with nickel ends and rubber feet complete the cabinet.

A custom color or Tolex is available as an extra option on request.

Handmade construction

Kool Amplification builds each cabinet by hand from start to finish in its own custom shop in the Netherlands. The approach follows the Dutch Design principle of blending beauty with functionality.

Warranty and returns

The cabinet warranty has no time limit, and the speaker carries a 3-year warranty. Coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship, with repairs handled by Kool Amplification’s own team in the Netherlands.

A 14-day money-back guarantee applies. To qualify for a return, the cabinet must be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused, complete and in its original packaging.
